Registrations are now open for the second session of the “Work Zone Safety and Management” training course from the PIARC Road Academy, focused on governance, regulation, and contracts.
The second session will begin on 7 July, and the programme will continue with monthly training sessions from June to November 2026.
The programme will run each month from June to November 2026 and will be delivered in English, French, and Spanish, with additional language support available.

This dynamic 90-minute session explores how governance and contractual decisions influence safety performance on road projects.
Through international examples and practical insights, participants will discover how procurement strategies, incentives, and risk-sharing mechanisms can either improve or undermine work zone safety.
Designed for road authorities, engineers, contractors, and project managers, the course offers practical approaches that can be applied immediately within organisations and projects.
