With consultative status to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, the Association is contributing to a stable and sustainable global development of the road and transport sector.

International Conferences

PIARC’s mission is to disseminate and exchange knowledge in the area of road and road transport. This is done through the World Road Congresses, the World Winter Service and Road Resilience Congresses, the international seminars held in low and middle income countries, and also through international conferences.

Such events are held mainly in high-income countries and meet the needs and expectations of the international technical road community.
