International Seminar Roads and Highways: optimising services for customer

25-27 april 2011, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)

This seminar is organized jointly by the PIARC Technical Committees TC B.1 Good Governance of Road Administrations & TC B.2 Road Network Operations.

Topics of the seminar are:

  • Technical session 1 - Information services and road network decision support systems;
  • Technical Session 2 - Key performance indicators and customer services in road network development, operation and management;
  • Technical Session 3 - Cooperative initiatives between public and private sectors and cooperative technologies.

Two workshops are organized the 26th on:

  • Multi-Lane Free Flow;
  • World Road Congress Preview;
  • Joint Task Force: "Connected Vehicle".

Two technical visits close the seminar the 27th.
