  2. DG-QRAM

HDM-4

HDM-4 is the primary tool for the analysis, planning, management and appraisal of road maintenance, improvements and investment decisions.

HDM-4 is widely recognized by development agencies.

In 1998, PIARC (World Road Association) was entrusted by the stakeholders of the ISOHDM Project (International Study of Highway Development and Management) with the intellectual property rights of the software system known as HDM-4. Accordingly it was developed with numerous stakeholders, and is distributed by HDMGlobal through a concession contract with PIARC.

DG-QRAM

As part of the ERS2 project (1997-2001), PIARC and the OECD developed a Dangerous Goods Quantitative Risk Assessment Model (DG-QRAM) to evaluate the risks of dangerous goods transport through road tunnels.

Since then, the software has been applied to a wide range of tunnels in several countries.

Widely used beyond European boundaries, DG-QRAM is regularly updated and enriched with additional functionalities.
