Participate in two surveys about the PIARC Special Projects 2025: Road Safety for motorcyclists and Management of work zones

PIARC has established a Special Projects mechanism to enable it to respond to emerging issues and priorities identified by its members outside the usual four-year Technical Committee cycle.

This time, PIARC is launching two surveys for the Special Projects to be completed in 2025:

  • “Motorcycle Protection Systems & Safety Aspects of Management of Traffic for Motorcycles”

The purpose of this special project is to develop a global scan across all the regions of the world in these aspects, so good practices can be identified and promoted through the recommendations of this project.

Estimated completion time: approximately 20 minutes.

  • “Management of work zones”

This international survey supports a PIARC Special Project to identify global practices in managing road worksites ("work zones").

Estimated completion time: 15-20 minutes.

We invite you to submit your answers by 20 August 2025.

The results of these two Special Projects will be presented during the Council meeting on 27-28 October 2025, in Goyang, South Korea.
