Such challenges have urged the use of emerging state-of-the-art technologies to collect and process relevant data to facilitate the maintenance and management of the road network while providing seamless and stress-free journeys to road users.

The project “Road related data and how to use it” addresses the new, future and emerging data collection and analysis methods used worldwide and explores the different scenarios and business models which are being or can be adopted by road administrations.
