Overall Assessment of the Physical Vulnerability of the French National Road Network to the Impacts of Climate Change - PIARC Honourable Mention - Adaptation to Climate Change
Climate change poses a growing threat to transport infrastructure, particularly road networks, which are increasingly exposed to extreme weather hazards, such as heatwaves and flooding. In response to this challenge, France adopted its third National Climate Change Adaptation Plan (PNACC 3) in March 2025.
