Development of tools for Performance Measurement

This report constitutes the synthesis of the work carried out by the C15 PIARC Committee on the theme: "Development of Performance Measuring Tools". It aims at showing the principal performance indicators used in the PIARC countries and the use which can be made of them in order to improve the efficiency of road authorities. The report is based on an OECD study on "Performance Indicators for the Road Sector" and on a detailed survey of the C15 member states.
