Efficient Allocation of Financial and Budgetary Resources

This report covers the work of PIARC Committee C15 on Performance of Road Administrations (C15) on efficient allocation of financial and budgetary resources.

An evaluation of the efficiency of existing systems and economic appraisal methods to allocate financial and budgetary resources and a comparison between user surveys and budget allocation were undertaken in order to establish the means by which road administrations will be able to make better use of existing networks and develop guidelines and tools to help countries make more efficient use of the road budget.
