  • Definition : Approach designed to take into account all the aspects of a problem and its possible impacts, through a transdisciplinary approach. Notes: 1. This type of approach is the opposite of a sectorial approach. 2. The whole-of-government approach is used by the Australian authorities to set up policies integrating sustainable development.
