  • Definition : Weigh-in-motion under such particular conditions as to minimize the effects of accelerations, i.e., the difference between static and dynamic load. Note: this is obtained by using a specific weighing area outside the usual traffic lanes, a horizontal pavement with good evenness and vehicles moving at a steady low speed (1 to 25 km/h) [COST 323].
