Roads of Portugal
This issues of "Routes/Roads" intends to provide an overview of the road sector in Portugal, and the national road network in particular.In 1978, the length of the nationla road network was 18 800 km, which represented 40% of the classified network, an abnormally high percentage. This fact, amongst others, led to the revision of the plan which was completed at the end of 1985.
