COVID-19: Key Lessons for the Road and Transport Community from the latest PIARC Webinars

PIARC organizes weekly online discussions on the response to the COVID-19 crisis. They are open to experts nominated by their First National Delegate to PIARC and members of PIARC Technical Groups/Task Forces.

The objective of these sessions is to share current knowledge and practices among PIARC members on an urgent basis in order to support near real-time responses to the pandemic.

Sixteen webinars have been held to date. A total of 475 participants from 57 different countries have attended these sixteen webinars, which have been facilitated by 50 presenters from 30 different countries, highlighting PIARC's global reach and relevance. A first note presented the results of the first four webinars.

A second note has just been published. It presents the results of the six webinars that took place between 15 and 30 April 2020. These are relevant to the road community and can be useful in informing the planning and operational decisions that urgently need to be made in the field.
