Hazardous materials in tunnels: Participate in PIARC training sessions!

16 - 18 December 2019, Geneva (Switzerland)

Training sessions on DG QRAM software (Quantitative Risk Assessment Model for the Transport of Dangerous Goods in Road Tunnels) are planned for 16, 17 and 18 December 2019 in Geneva (in English)

Incidents involving the release of dangerous goods are amongst the most feared in road tunnels. To deal with this issue, a Quantitative Risk Assessment Model (QRAM) to evaluate the risks of dangerous goods transport through road tunnels & on open roads has been jointly developed by PIARC and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, OECD.

Since the development of the tool, the software has been applied to a wide range of tunnels in several countries.

The updated version of this software (4.04) is now available and Ponts Formation Conseil organises two lively and interactive training sessions on behalf of PIARC for QRAM users in Geneva on 16th, 17th and 18th of December 2019.

How can I obtain the QRAM software?

The license price is €1,500 for new buyers, and €1,000 for buyers of the old QRA-3.61 version.

All relevant information and the order form are available on the PIARC website:
