Although PIARC has three working languages, English, Spanish and French, and strives to offer all its services in each of these three languages (website, official correspondence, Routes/Roads magazine, technical reports, electronic manuals, etc.), it takes into account the diversity of its members and does not forget that there are 141 official national languages around the world, often involving several countries. As an example, the Tunnel Handbook has existed for many years in 10 languages, thanks to the commitment of experts from the corresponding Technical Committee. Various member countries regularly request PIARC to translate into their national language any of our documents that are of particular interest to them.

In this perspective, PIARC has just opened, on its website, a page dedicated to "other languages". The PIARC presentation brochure is already available in about 40 languages. Little by little, technical reports will be added to it, if and when they are translated. Any country wishing to offer PIARC documents translated into its national language is invited to contact the General Secretariat for publication.
