Discover PIARC's new Strategic Theme Coordinators for the 2020 - 2023 work cycle

April 2020

PIARC Technical Committees cover a wide range of topics including road safety, network operations, maintenance, finance, tunnels, governance, etc. They are structured in four Strategic Themes, each of these is led by a Strategic Theme Coordinator, who is a senior expert appointed by the Executive Committee.

They are responsible for the general coordination of the activities of the Association in their theme and for providing guidance to their Committees as well as ensuring regular communication with the Technical Committees. Strategic Theme Coordinators are also in charge of providing high-level guidance to the decision-making bodies of the Association so as to ensure that we keep abreast of emerging trends and needs.
