  • Theme : Operations Transport Vehicles
  • Definition : Motor vehicle for the carriage of goods with a permissible gross vehicle weight of over 3.5 t, with or without a trailer. Note: 3.5 t is not a common worldwide limit: it varies from 2.5 t (Abu Dhabi) to 8 t (Japan), because of the different legislative issues in the different countries. However, there is a common understanding that 3.5 t is a good average number.
