Term of the Road Dictionary

  • Theme : Roads Construction Flexible and Semi-Rigid Pavements
  • Definition : Pavement in which the structure combines vibrated cement concrete and bituminous materials in the base and/or surface layer. Note: the aim is to provide a bonded laminate that operates as a two-layer or three-layer structure.

  • Theme : Straßen Bau Flexible und halbstarre Fahrbahnbefestigungen
  • Definition : Eine Befestigung, bei der gerüttelter Zementbeton und bituminöses Material in der Tragschicht und/oder Deckschicht kombiniert werden. Das Ziel ist die Schaffung einer in sich gebundenen Platte, die wie eine zwei- oder dreilagige Befestigung wirkt.
