Term of the Road Dictionary

labour productivity

  • Definition : Ratio of the quantity of goods produced in a particular period (output) and the quantity of work required to produce these goods (input) in that period. Note: the labour productivity indicates the quantity of a particular product produced per unit of labour [EN 14943].

  • Definition : Verhältnis der Menge der innerhalb einer bestimmten Zeitspanne produzierten Waren (Arbeitsergebnis) zu der Menge der zum Produzieren dieser Waren innerhalb dieser Zeitspanne benötigten Arbeit (Aufwand). Anmerkung: die Arbeitsproduktivität bezeichnet die Menge eines bestimmten Produkts, die je Arbeitseinheit hergestellt wurde [EN 14943].
