Definition : Street signposted as such, where the full width of the public highway is reserved for playing people, especially children, on certain days (e.g., holidays) or times of day.
1. Playing people are considered as pedestrians.
2. Drivers (cyclists and drivers of motor vehicles) using play streets have to drive at walking speed, yield and give way to playing people, and stop if necessary.
3. For motor vehicles, access is restricted to drivers living or having their garage in the street, to priority vehicles when their mission justifies it, and to vehicles having a permit delivered by the road manager.
