Our National Committee of Austria organises ASTRAD & AustroKOMMUNAL 2023

Austria's largest municipal trade fair with a specialist symposium for road management and winter maintenance: “The Austrian Winter Road Congress”

Friedrich Zotter, Honorary President of the Austrian National Committee:

“For the 15th time the ASTRAD-Symposium on Road Management and Winter Maintenance will be held 14 and 15th June 2023 at the AustroKOMMUNAL trade fair in Wels, Province of Upper Austria. It has especially been tailored to meet the needs of the public sector. City councils, municipal authorities, contractors and road maintenance authorities will find a comprehensive selection of vehicles, machines and technical equipment on show. Around 130 exhibitors will present in an area of 23.000 sqm their range of vehicles, equipment carriers, machines, accessories and services for winter road clearance, green space maintenance, waste management, road construction and maintenance, and road safety.

The highlight of the event will be the lectures, organised by the Austrian National Committee of PIARC jointly with the National Road and Rail Research Association, featuring excellent presentations by internationally recognised experts from the fields of engineering, science and industry. Members of PIARC Technical Committee B.2 on Winter Service, specialists from administrations and the private sector as well as practitioners from road maintenance units will present their contributions in the center of the exhibition hall.
