PIARC (World Road Association), founded in 1909 and comprising 125 member governments from all over the world, is the global forum for exchange of knowledge and experience on roads, road transport policies and practices. With consultative status to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, the Association is contributing to a stable and sustainable global development of the road and transport sector.

In line with PIARC's mission to identify, develop and disseminate best practices and provide better access to international information, we have undertaken several actions to help road and road transport professionals in these difficult times.

On-line discussion sessions on COVID-19 are regularly organized by PIARC

Experts from the United States, China, Australia, Greece, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, Paraguay, among others, have already been able to share their practices and feedback.
