Ce séminaire était organisé par le Ministère des Communications de la République populaire de Chine (Research Institute of Highway, Road Safety Research Center, Traffic Engineering Supervision and Testing Center)
et l'AIPCR (C3.1).

Grâce à la grande implication du Comité technique AIPCR de la Sécurité routière, tout particulièrement de son Président, Hans-Joachim Vollpracht, ce séminaire a connu un grand succès avec plus de 200 participants.

Après deux jours de présentations et de tables rondes très intéressantes, les participants ont visité le centre de surveillance de Ba Dalin et une section en reconstruction de la Ba Dalin Expressway. Ils ont aussi eu l'occasion de fouler le sol de la Grande Muraille.
