Concrete Roads - Practical Guidelines for Technology Transfer

This report was drafted by the PIARC Technical Committee on Concrete Roads in close co-operation with the PIARC Technical Committee on Roads in Developing Regions.

It clarifies the main points of the concrete road technique and is intended for various categories of people concerned with pavement construction. It is therefore particularly intended for countries interested by the construction of that type of pavements either within the framework of an overall policy or that of a specific project.

It includes a part intended for contract awarders; a part intended for design engineers; a part intended for construction engineers; a part on monitoring methods and maintenance techniques and conclusions and recommendations.
