Intermodality: Measures to Stimulate Public Transport Usage

This is the report of the activities from PIARC Committee on Urban Areas sub-group on intermodality, which deals with traveller intermodality in which public transport plays a major role. The activities of this subgroup have been focused on public transport measures and other measures that affect public transport use, and on transport interchange facilities. The aim of the study is to provide information and pass on ideas to countries and cities on measures that can help achieve a traveller intermodality in which public transport plays a major role.
