Under “CASE” (Connected, Autonomous, Shared & Services, Electric) vision, the automobile industry is changing enormously. Road traffic management through state-of-the-art technologies of ICT and AI promotes traffic safety and smoothens road traffic. It is important to examine the impacts of these transformations on road traffic and the role of road administrators to exploit the opportunity. Eight member countries, Austria, Canada-Quebec, Czech Republic, Italy, Japan, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, and United Kingdom, have submitted National Reports to this Strategic Direction Session, introducing recent efforts of the nations.
