Archaeological discoveries relevant to the construction of new motorways in Northern Italy

Civil engineering works for the construction of roads often allow archaeological discoveries. Sometimes even important findings are taken out of the ground: artefact that travelled through centuries, maybe from the Roman civilization or the Middle Ages to the present day. This paper is shortly describing a few recent cases.
