Road safety in REAAA countries - Overview

In June 2001, the World Road Association and the Road Engineering Association of Asia & Australasia (REAAA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to serve as a basis for a future structured cooperation. The MoU was updated in 2009 to better reflect the increased level of cooperation and mutual understanding sought by both associations. Several initiatives have taken place since the revised MoU was signed, the most recent being the joint World Road Association/REAAA/IRDA (Indonesian Road Development Association) International Seminar on'Road Sustainability and Green Technology', held in Bali in April 2013.
