  • Definition : Road concrete having a lower cement content than pavement concrete, and consequently required to attain a lower mechanical strength. Notes: 1. Preparation methods and compliance tests are those required for a pavement concrete, as distinct from ''graded aggregate or granular material bound with cementitious binders''. 2. Compaction is generally obtained by means of vibratory equipment, sometimes by rollers (United Kingdom).
