cementitious road binder

  • Definition : Cementitious binder manufactured in a cement plant for exclusive use in roads. Notes: 1. It is generally obtained by jointly milling or mixing different materials such as cement clinker, vitrified blast furnace slag and/or fly ash, and a catalyst or an activator. 2. It has slow setting kinetics and a long workability period. 3. It is intended for treating soils in situ and for manufacturing graded aggregate (or granular material) and sand bound with cementitious binders as well as roller-compacted concrete for base and subbase layers.

hydraulischer Tragschichtbinder

  • Theme : Straßen Baustoffe Bindemittel
  • Definition : Zementhaltiges Bindemittel, das speziell für die Verwendung auf Straßen in Produktionsanlagen für Zement hergestellt wird. Es wird im Allgemeinen durch gemeinschaftliches Mahlen oder Mischen verschiedener Materialien hergestellt, wie Zementklinker, verglaste Hochofenschlacke und/oder Flugasche, sowie einem Katalysator oder einem Aktivator. Es hat eine langsam sich entwickelnde Kinetik und eine lange Verarbeitszeit. Es wird für Bodenverbesserungen und zur Herstellung von kornabgestuften Mineralstoffen (oder körnigern Material), hydraulisch gebundenem Sand oder Walzbeton für Tragschichten verwendet.
