Patrick Malléjacq, former International Director of the French Research Institute IFSTTAR, took on April 1st, 2016, his office of Secretary General, succeeding Jean-François Corté who leaves the Association after 14 years of service.
Patrick Malléjacq took part, for the first time, in a CEDR General Assembly in Warsaw, on April 19th. He reaffirmed the strong link between our two associations, and opened a joint workshop PIARC-CEDR on winter maintenance.
During TRA 2016, the Secretary General held a meeting in Warsaw a first work meeting with the Polish Organising Committee of the XVth International Winter Road Congress (Gda?sk, February 20-23, 2018).
Roy Brannen, First Delegate of the United Kingdom, hosted PIARC Executive Committee on April 26-27 in Edinburgh. Meeting participants could enjoy the Scottish hospitality, a memorable dinner at Parliament and an exciting visit of Queensferry Crossing building site.
