The Algerian Road Association (ARAL) has fulfilled the role of National Committee since 1998.
ARGENTINA
The Fundación CENATTEV has held the function of National Committee since 1987.
AUSTRALIA / NEW ZEALAND
It is in 1989 that the Australian and New Zealand Committee (Austroads International Committee) was established.
AUSTRIA
The Austrian National Committee (Österreichisches Nationalkomitee des WeltStraßenverbandes AIPCR / PIARC) was created in 1973, in view of the World Road Congress in Vienna (1979).
Friedrich Zotter, Chairman, is the representative of the National Committees within the PIARC Executive Committee from 2005 until 2008.
BELGIUM
The Belgian National Committee, established in 1932, is one of the oldest PIARC National Committees.
BURKINA FASO
The Committee of Burkina Faso (CB-AIPCR) was created in 2002. It also accommodates a Technology Transfer Centre.
CANADA
The Canadian National Committee, CNC-PIARC/ AIPCR, was established in 2000.
CANADA-QUÉBEC
The PIARC Quebec Committee, created in 1995 in view of the XXth World Road Congress in Montreal, is an integral part of the AQTR.

CZECH REPUBLIC
The Czechoslovak National Committee, created in 1932, became the "Czech National Committee " in 1993.
GERMANY
The German National Committee, closely linked to Forschungsgesellschaft für Straßen und Verkehrswesen ( FGSV), has been in operation since 1955.
ITALY
The Italian National Committee, established in 1932, is one of the oldest PIARC National Committees.
JAPAN
The Japan Road Association (JRA), acting as National Committee, was created in 1947.
MEXICO
The AMIVTAC (Mexican Road Association) was recognized as a National Committee in 2005.
MOROCCO
It is in 1984 that the AMPCR (Permanent Moroccan Association for Road Congresses) was created.
NORDIC COUNTRIES
Since 1992, the national sections of the Nordic Road Association (NVF) have had the status of PIARC National Committee.
PORTUGAL
The Portuguese National Committee was created in 1952 following the IXth World Road Congress in Lisbon (1951).
